In 2019 I was given the opportunity I had dreamed about ever since I was a sophomore in high school. I became a varsity football coach. Even though I had been around athletics my entire life I did not know all of the jobs went along with being a young coach at a varsity level along with being a varsity offensive line coach and JV offensive coordinator. I was also a laundry master, helmet and chin strap mechanic, five-star PB&J cook, sports psychologist, hudl pro, and many other roles that I loved filling.

One of my favorite jobs that I had in 2019 was posting the offensive and defensive players of the week. This started out as simplistic photos taken on iPhones, captions created with Google Slides, and screenshots. As the year progressed, no matter how the score turned out, guys still rushed into the locker room every Monday excited to see who the player of the week was. Their pride to try and be the best forced me to strive to be an even better coach in every possible way. Including creating edits that my athletes can be proud of. Athletics takes determination, pride and hard work. These are values that I put into every part of my life and I would like to do the same for you and your athletes.

My Wife

I was blessed to meet my wonderful and spectacular wife in third grade. We have been married since 2017 she is my partner in life and in all my endeavours and I am blessed beyond measure to have her in my life.

My football career

I have been around football my entire life. With my dad being a high school football coach the game was literally in my blood. I started to play the game that I loved in third grade and ended my career at Ouachita Baptist University in 2019 with one of the most successful programs in D2.

My life as a teacher

As an educator I have had the honor of educating many young people about history, sports, and life.

I am currently coaching and teaching World History at Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas.
